Usually from about April to mid July I do not have babies but other times of the year we at least have a few. The biggest time is between mid July and November. The little guy with the bad tail is doing fine but the tail is obviously broken in the middle and when he moves it the tail bends in the middle of the tail and pulls up toward his body. Not sure how that will effect the movement as he gets older. Jill growls at me every day when I put food into her cage. She is definitely a grumpy girl

Little Mickey is doing great. His joints continue be less swollen, he is standing and even walking a little now. He is a great eater on this formula too, but has yet to try any solid foods.

Mickey continues to improve. He was actually nervous for the first time tonight. I guess something was scary. He will always have problems with his right front foot even if the joint goes down completely but he will adapt well. He still has an odd coat in that it has some places where the fur goes in different directions, but he is definitely doing better each day.

Yes, Mickey has cowlicks for sure. He ate like a pig this morning (12 cc's). He seems to be getting stronger all the time too. The one front foot turns sideways so it will never be normal but it is not a hinderance to him.

Mickey is much more alert and busy today. His front legs are definitely short for a squirrel and he is still very small for his age. Only one joint is still reddish in color and slightly swollen but the others are almost completely back to normal. He has started to nibble just a tiny bit on some of his cereals.

Mickey is doing great tonight. He kind of walks on the sides of his front feet a bit, but is sure doesn't slow him down. The swellings are now almost completely gone in his joints. He is starting to nibble more at the dry mix of foods too.

Sounds like he is well on his way to recovery. Well as much as he can anyways.

You should have seen him this morning. For the first time Mickey was standing up on his back legs begging for breakfast. Before you used to have to wake him up to eat. Now he is not only awake but begging for it. He is so cute. We are going to try to get a new set of pictures of him soon as he is changing as he is feeling better. His joints all only slightly swollen now. I am going to give him a second shot of the convenia to help knock out anything else that might be there but that sure did do the trick with it. He started feeling better by the next day after getting that shot. Then the joint swelling started going down. I am just glad he is doing better now as he is such a sweet little one.

I noticed for the first time today that two of Mickey's toes on his front foot are fused. This is the foot he had the most trouble with the joint swelling. It doesn't bother him in the least though.
